Union Oyster House, Boston, MA is my next Watercolor Portrait!
Union Oyster House in Boston, MA is the oldest in continuous
operation restaurant in the country. It was built in 1714. It was used a dry goods store early on. Between the years 1771-1775 Isiah Thomas printed his newspaper "The Massachusetts Spy" on an upper floor. In 1826 a man named Atwood started an Oyster House that is ancestor to the present day restaurant.
