Trinity Church Copley Square - Boston, MA

H.H. Richardson designed Trinity Church in Boston's Copley Square is the city's most beautiful building. It was once the biggest structure in the back bay. Over the years huge towers spray up around it. The Copley Plaza Hotel on the right was erected in the early 20th century and is still a luxury four star hotel. The art deco John Hancock Tower (little John Hancock) was built in the early to mid 20th century. And in the mid 1970's Pei Cobb Freed erected the glass John Hancock Tower, to this day still the city's tallest building. None of these compare to the Trinity Churches grandeur and importance as a historic landmark.
