Azure blue sky above cedar and masonry forms harmonize with emerald and kelly greens of the landscape. Many challenges in its development includes uneven color palette across facade where shingles change from tan to deep brown and in some areas black. Oil paint like layering was required to achieve the gradient of a true shingle exposed to outdoor elements. I built up the paint rather than subtracted it. Also, the sky came out highly saturated with pigment, but it is now a good color.
