Old South Church in Copley Square Boston, Ma was built in the late nineteenth century. It is sometimes refered to as Venitian Gothic. The original tower was bigger and heavier at the top. It flaired out at the bell tower which created an engineering disaster. At the complettion of its construction the tower began to lean toward the southwest and sink in the back bay infill. Not long after, its design was altered to the more slender appearence that we know today.
The art work is 20" x 27" is size. It is matted, framed, and under glass. Frame size is 24" x 30". It is signed and dated by the artist, Nicholas E. Connors, December 9, 2016.
