Boston City Hall Building in Boston's Government Center is the highest order in Modern Architecture. It was designed by Kallmann McKinnell and Knowles in 1960. It's construction took eight years and was praised as the most shinning and bright example of urban architecture in North America. It's light colored concrete is of the brutalist style. Not meaning harsh, but from the French beton brut which translates in English as "raw concrete." It's form is that of functionallity and ease of use. The courtyard is bright and open to the streets crowded with buildings. The Watercolor is 21"x29". It was completed by the artist, Nicholas Connors on 8/21/19.
